Working in Winter is wrong

IMG_3529.JPG
I don’t know about you but it just feels wrong to work in winter. It goes against thousands of years of human evolution.
We are designed to gather food during the summer then eat it during the winter. Yet our modern world wants us to ignore this deep connection to the natural rhythms of nature. Our modern jobs want us to behave as if summer and winter were the same and that we should consistently produce work.
But to us getting up in the dark and heading to the shop/office/factory/school feels wrong in winter. The human mind rails against it. You really want to hide away and forget about the outside world.
Maybe one day soon we will get some sense and work will match the rhythms of life, not commerce.
